This species is nocturnal and becomes active after sunset. It roosts in caves and tunnels, usually in large colonies. In the KRI, we observed roosts with more than 50 individuals in a cave. It also shares roosts with other bat species. It is insectivorous, feeding primarily on moths. Feeding on other insects such as beetles, dipterans, antlions, lacewings, and dragonflies has also been reported.
