This species is nocturnal and roosts during the day in caves or buildings. It roosts singly or in small groups. Maternity colonies of 20 individuals have been recorded. Roost sharing with other bat species has also been recorded. This species is insectivorous, feeding primarily on moths, dipterans, beetles, wasps, true bugs, grasshoppers, ants, dragonflies, and other insects.
